Zoey's and Josh's puppy pictures were taken on July 25, 2010, at 7 weeks of age. Misty's and Josh's puppy pictures were taken on July 31, 2010, at 7 weeks of age. The puppies eat, sleep, and play. Their vision and hearning is fully developed, the tan and copper points are continuing to come in, along with the nose and facial pigmentation. The eye color is a dark bluish brown at this time and will change to brown or blue over the next few weeks or months. The puppies are playing more, and are learning socialization skills from littermates. They love to play with toys, soft blankets, and towels. They are alert and inquisitive about everything. Zoey/Josh puppies will be ready to go to their new homes on or after Sunday, August 1st, when they are 8 weeks old. Misty/Josh puppies will be ready to go to their new homes on or after Saturday, August 7th, when they are 8 weeks old. The puppies will get a bath, nail trimming, worming, and a Parvo/Distemper vaccination before going home. We would like to recommend reading the "Bringing Your New Puppy Home, What Now?" section, which will answer a lot of the questions that you may have about vaccinations, worming, fleas and ticks, potty training, being safe outside, and Aussie grooming. There are 2 pictures of each puppy practicing wearing a collar, and walking on leash, using cheese as an incentive. (They usually scratch at the collar for a couple of days and can't focus on the task at hand, until they get used to wearing a collar, so we wait until most of the scratching stops.)
